Hubby and I stumbled across an organic farmers’ market held at the Noordermarkt.
Have you ever seen pink oyster mushrooms before?
What about yellow ones?
The Biologische Noordermarkt is a feast for the senses.

I have never seen such beautiful mushrooms.
Have you bought some to try? Have you bought anything?
The price seems comparable to the price of fresh mushroom here in Perth or may be slightly more expensive.
You and Pete now have another place you can visit.
We didn’t even think of buying any of the mushrooms! Now I regret it! We were going to buy some cheese, but we didn’t have a fridge in the hotel room, and we still had one more night there, plus two more nights in another hotel in Groningen that also didn’t have a fridge! So I don’t think the cheese or the mushrooms would have kept very well. The markets are in Amsterdam, not Würzburg, so I don’t think we’ll have time to visit there again unfortunately!
nice pictures! Bio products are my favorites, as well as small farm markets. In ukraine I was impressed by the wonderful mushrooms sold in the streets (it was end of october). Another great market is at Riga, huge and almost all bio, followed by vilnius (far from the centre, its called russian market)
Thank you! I love looking at all the produce at farmers’ markets. They’re always so interesting and colourful!
