Getting Creative with Little Miss Ling: The Final Frontier

Getting Creative with Little Miss LingI recently signed up for the FreshStitches Kit Club, a subscription to an amigurumi crochet kit every other month. I received my first kit three weeks ago, but I didn’t want to start a new project before finishing my current granny square blanket. So I have been crocheting like a madwoman for the past few weeks, and I have hand cramps to prove it!

But guess what? I finished crocheting my last granny square today! Woot woot!

Would you like to see a sneak peak of the granny squares that my blanket will consist of?

Circle in a square

Circle in a square

I had to modify the circle in a square pattern to make the square match the dimensions of the simple squares – my first pattern modification! They don’t sit very flat at the moment, but I’m hoping that will be resolved once I join the squares together and block the blanket.
